One of the more interesting aspects of learning strategic management is that it shows you why companies need to implement change so as to stay competitive. Can you give an example of a company you are familiar with that underwent change in order to stay competitive?

As you go through the toils of another week, perhaps at some point you will come across something that we discussed in class over the past several months. It might have been an interesting business you saw or something in the news that was of interest to you.

Seen any good examples of strategic management?

On the upcoming exam I ask you to identify a company that demonstrates poor strategic management. Let's look at the opposite. Can you think of a company/organization or person that exemplifies good strategic management? Why do you feel that way?
